SAVE $6.75 PER PERSON when family and friends visit
you in the summer. Pack a picnic and head to Rose Island
on the ferry! The lighthouse is open every day in
July and August from 10AM-4PM.
Members can buy specially-marked
ferry tickets from the RILF office for themselves and
their guests for only $13.75 round trip. Children under
5 FREE. (General public pays $16.50, plus $4 landing

. . . . . . . . . . . . Students see how the past can provide answers
for the future at the Rose Island Lighthouse – a historic,
living museum and environmental education center. Here,
the Keeper’s practical, resourceful way of life becomes
a reality for your students through the basic tour and
hands-on activities selected especially for your class.
(The environmental principles learned here can be used
at school and at home, too.) Programs are suitable for
Grades K-5.Be

The
Rose Island Lighthouse Foundation is offering 100% UN-buildable
SQUARE-FOOT-LOTS for sale in Newport, Rose Island. Proceeds
from lot sales will be used for continued restoration
plus "green" improvements to the Lighthouse,
Fort Hamilton, and Rose Island.
Our capital
campaign goal is to raise $800,000 for this work, then
to raise $1million endowment to ensure Rose Island, its
historic Lighthouse, and Fort Hamilton will be preserved
FOREVER! We invite you to buy

In celebration of...
Lighting the Rose Island Light on a special
night is a wonderful way to acknowledge someone or something
important to you. The symbolism of the light is a blessing
that is perfectly suited for many occasions, including
weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and also
for memorials. Just tell us the night you want the light
dedicated, what you want to say and to whom, and we will:
Make an entry
on that day into the Keeper's Log at the lighthouse
Acknowledge
your dedication with a beautiful lighthouse sunset note
card. (Sunset images will change every year, perfect
for annual remembrances.)
Each dedication costs $100, which
is fully-deductible as a contribution.
